Site Infrastructure Analyst – Network & CCTV – Hull –
40 hours per week; based around 08.30 am to 05.00 pm, Monday to Friday
A UK Leader in engineering services, established over three decades ago and an award winning business with a reputation for delivering community‑engaged infrastructure projects, is looking to further strengthen its IT Services team by appointing a Site Infrastructure Analyst. The role will sit within a well‑established team and offers cross‑training and up‑skilling potential.
The role provides support to remote sites for all IT, supported by a full team of technicians at head office. Role aspects include:
- CCTV and Timelapse Cameras (Hik Vision)
- Face Recognition Terminals (Hik Central)
- Network / Internet Connectivity
- Act as banksman and fulfil other HSE requirements following company training
- Work in a professional manner following team standards to provide an efficient and effective service to our customers
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Senior Site Infrastructure Engineer to support sites
- Manage your own day‑to‑day workload to meet SLAs and deadlines
- Follow clearly defined documentation and process
- Help maintain an inventory of equipment issued to or recovered from sites
- Keep up to date with industry changes and recommend potential improvements
- Travel to remote sites, which could involve overnight stays
The role requires a basic understanding of either networking (hubs, switches, routers, modems) or CCTV (cameras, recording equipment). The company is happy to train on either the networking or CCTV elements of the role.
We are looking to discuss this role with either a Network Engineer who would like to broaden their endpoint knowledge in CCTV and related equipment, or a CCTV engineer who would like to venture further into mainstream networking technology. Full training will be provided on ITIL, PRINCE2, and Hik Vision.
The role requires travel (20%) which is fully funded with occasional stop‑overs, so a full driving licence is a pre‑requisite.
