We're looking for a Catering Assistant in Hull to join our vibrant food service teams. This is a great role for anyone who enjoys a hands-on environment and wants flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Catering Assistant, you'll help keep operations running smoothly:

Food Preparation:
Assist chefs with peeling, chopping, washing vegetables, making sandwiches, and portioning meals
Service & Front of House:
Set up and clear tables, serve food and drinks, take orders, handle cash, and manage dietary requests
Cleaning & Hygiene:
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; clean work surfaces, floors, and dining areas; follow hygiene regulations
Stock & Deliveries:
Receive, check, and store deliveries; manage supplies
Customer Service:
Provide friendly service and ensure a positive experience for all guests

What we're looking for:

We need Catering Assistants who are:

Team players with strong communication skills
Committed to high standards of hygiene and cleanliness
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods and lift when needed
Able to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail, especially around food safety and allergies
