Medical Staffing Co‑ordinatorSupport the transition to a modern integrated Medical Staffing/Employee Service Centre and the full implementation of e‑Rostering use across the Trust for Resident Doctors.
Manage and co‑ordinate the day‑to‑day running of the e‑Roster/online rotas in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with individual departments, including approving leave, managing swaps, logging sickness and arranging locums as required.
Establish and maintain relationships with key clinicians, managers and other contacts within the Health Group, escalating issues where appropriate and required.
Ensure Resident Doctor rotations run smoothly, including managing the pre‑employment check process, and serve as the first point of contact to Resident Doctors.
Ensure all work schedules and contracts are issued within the deadlines set out in the Doctor in Training Terms & Conditions of Service (2016).
Deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused, measurable service to internal and external customers, measured by SMART work objectives.
Main duties of the jobServes around 11,000 employees from the Employee Service Centre, managing day‑to‑day rotas, Resident Doctor rotations, recruitment and pre‑employment checks on behalf of a professional, supportive and flexible team.
Support the transition to, and development of, a modern integrated Employee Service Centre that provides an efficient, effective and supportive service.
Provide effective and professional HR services for all levels of medical staff across the Trust.
Support the roll‑out of e‑Rostering across the Trust and develop a professional, attentive, supportive team that continually seeks improvement.

Person Specification Qualifications & Education- Minimum of 3 GCSE/O Levels including Maths and English or NVQ 2 or equivalent experience
- Comparable clerical experience within the last two years (including standard office‑based systems) and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Recent high level of relevant customer service.
- Experience working within an NHS medical staffing environment.
- Experience using Oracle/ESR and rostering systems.
- All sections of the application form fully completed.
- Ability to work to high standards with a high degree of accuracy.
- Effective organisational and time‑management skills.
- Ability to present high‑level data to senior colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly pick up potentially complex processes.
- Ability to work flexibly, both as an individual and as part of a team.
