To perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests on patients within the trust and in the community clinic. Assists Cardiac Physiologists during cardiac diagnostic testing. Document tests undertaken and accurately enter test results/reports.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms, ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring, and cardiac event/loop recordings.
  • Assist Cardiac Physiologists by preparing patients for more advanced cardiac investigations.
  • Assist patients attending the cardiology department to prepare for tests while maintaining privacy and dignity.
  • Document tests undertaken and accurately enter test results/reports.
