To perform basic cardiac diagnostic tests on patients within the trust and in the community clinic. Assists Cardiac Physiologists during cardiac diagnostic testing. Document tests undertaken and accurately enter test results/reports.

Main duties of the job- Performs a range of basic cardiac diagnostic tests, including:
- Electrocardiograms
- Ambulatory ECG and BP monitoring
- Assist Cardiac Physiologists by preparing patients for more advanced cardiac investigations.
- Assisting patients attending the cardiology department to prepare for tests whilst maintaining privacy and dignity.

Person specificationEducation/ Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience is a caring role preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
- Diploma (NVQ) level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or similar relevant qualification
