Project Selborne is a Transformational Training programme with a strategic goal of modernising Royal Navy training to deliver “better trained sailors to the front line faster”.
Your role will be to provide support to the delivery of training across Hull Structures skills area.
This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata’d and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
Due to the nature of this role, you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance at SC level.

**** What you’ll be doing
*** Ensuring outstanding relationships with the customer and within
** Ship’s Hull Structure
** training area.
* Delivering theory based training in Marine structure (ships & submarines)
* To assist in maintaining and updating training documentation and assess student course work to provide feedback on performance
* Utilise best practice across the establishment to inform and direct quality and improvement activities across RN training.
** What we’re looking for
**** Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** Level 3 qualified in a Marine Discipline
* Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
* Understanding of ships/submarines structures and applications
* Experience in the marine industry and knowledge of its principles.
** Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications
*** Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment
* Level 4 Teaching Qualification / DTC Defence Trainer Course or equivalent.
