Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Religious Education teacher who is committed to upholding and supporting the Catholic ethos of our school. The ideal candidate will bring strong subject knowledge, high expectations, and a passion for inspiring young people in their spiritual and academic growth. They will be able to deliver engaging and thoughtful lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering curiosity, reflection, and a love of learning.
We are looking for someone who is reflective and committed to highly intentional, evidence‑informed teaching, and who recognises that Christ is at the centre of our school community, contributing positively to the collaborative culture and continued success of our high‑performing department.
- Deliver engaging and reflective Religious Education lessons across Key Stage 3, 4 and Core RE at Key Stage 5.
- Apply a deep understanding of Religious Education as the 'core of the core' in a Catholic school.
- Recognise how Catholic education helps shape thoughtful, compassionate individuals.
- Promote the values of our Catholic faith‑based community in all teaching and interaction.
- Bring creativity, empathy, and a collaborative spirit to the classroom and beyond.
- Potential future opportunity to deliver the Religious Studies A Level course.
