Position: Construction Operative (Permanent)
Construction Operative x2 | Permanent | Up to 2 Hours from Hull

Want a hands-on role on high-profile glasshouse projects where your work actually matters? A leading horticultural and energy efficiency client is looking for Construction Operatives to join their operations team. This is a permanent role with solid pay, OT, and real career progression-many Site Managers started here.

What you'll be doing:

Installing and fitting out glasshouse structures-steel, frames, doors, windows, gutters, glazing

Supporting the team across multiple projects, from glasshouses to energy centres

Using and checking plant safely, following RAMS and PPE requirements

Receiving and checking materials, keeping sites tidy, and maintaining high-quality standards

Communicating progress and technical issues to Site/Project Managers

Who you are:

CSCS card holder, clean UK driving license essential

Glasshouse or construction experience highly desirable

Welding skills a bonus, but most days are steel, frames, and fittings

Team player with strong communication skills

Willing to workhours/week (OT paid over 45h)

Ambitious and ready to grow-opportunities to move into Site Management for the right people

Pay & Benefits:

£30-35k to start, review after 6 months

£40k+ for candidates with credible glasshouse experience

OT paid over 45 hours/week
