40hours per week, based at 79 Beverley Road

Reporting to the Finance & Facilities Manager - The Finance Admin Apprentice will support the Finance Team to perform a wide range of responsibilities.

These will include but are not limited to:

Key Duties
  • Leading on the Glasspool fund
  • Creating debit card sheets in relation to transactions
  • Issuing purchase order numbers to services
  • Monitoring and maintaining services petty cash accounts
  • Filing, photocopying, and scanning of all financial paperwork
  • Ordering goods for all Humbercare services
  • Taking incoming calls and fielding them to the relevant staff
  • Dealing with incoming post
  • Supporting income recovery with any relevant tasks required by the Income Officer
  • Assisting all finance colleagues with any financial or administrative task as and when required
Reputational of Organisation and Professionalism
  • Competently ensure all communication regarding Humbercare is communicated in a professional, accurate and effective manner
  • Represent the wider organisation in a competent and professional manner and maintain the highest professional standards at all times
  • Manage, monitor, and respond effectively and appropriately to customers and other agencies or individuals who may contact Humbercare
Organisational Development
  • To contribute to the delivery of the organisational Business Plan/strategy where appropriate.

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
