About the Role Were seeking a proactive, detail driven Senior Accountant (qualified or QBE) with strong technical ability and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. In this role, youll work closely with managers and directors, gaining hands on experience across a diverse client portfolio.
Because of our size and structure, you wont be limited to one type of workyoull gain exposure to a wide range of assignments, helping you build a deeper, more versatile skill set.
Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and management accounts for Limited Companies, Partnerships, and Sole Traders Draft business tax returns for manager/director review Liaise directly with clients and support their needs alongside the client manager Conduct audits both in-office and at client premises Assist senior team members in managing client portfolios Complete assigned training within agreed time frames Support managers and directors with ad hoc tasks Qualifications & Experience ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (or QBE with strong experience) Minimum 3 years experience in an accounting practice Strong technical knowledge of accounting and tax principles Excellent communication and client relationship skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Proficiency with Xero, Quick Books, Sage, and Microsoft Office Desirable Attributes
Experience with audits and portfolio management Commercial awareness and proactive problem solving Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and collaboratively
