Overview
Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and dependable Art Classroom Assistant to support our Elementary Art program at the Hugo campus.
This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children in a hands-on, faith-based environment and who takes joy in helping students explore creativity through art. The Art Classroom Assistant plays an important role in classroom support, student supervision, and art program preparation throughout the school year.
Liberty Classical Academy – Hugo Campus (Hugo, MN)
Responsibilities- Assist the K–2 Art Teacher during classroom instruction
- Prepare art materials and supplies before class and support cleanup after activities
- Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
- Help display and organize student artwork throughout the building
- Supervise students during lunch and recess and support positive social interactions
- Assist in preparing for and executing the annual school-wide spring Art Show, including participation outside of normal work hours
- Uphold and model Christian character, values, and love in daily interactions
- 18 years of age or older
- Experience assisting with art, teaching, or childcare preferred (not required)
- Creative, organized, and attentive to detail
- Comfortable engaging with elementary-aged children
- Positive, patient, and dependable team player
- Commitment to a Christ-centered educational environment and values
- Organized, dependable, and able to take initiative when needed
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 10:00 AM–1:00 PM
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
