Early Childhood Care Assistant; Part-Time

Overview

Liberty Classical Academy is a Christ-centered, classical Preschool–12th grade private school with campuses in White Bear Lake and Hugo, Minnesota. We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and dependable Early Childhood Care Provider to join our team at the Hugo campus.

This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys caring for infants and toddlers in a small-class, faith-based environment. The Care Provider plays an important role in supporting the daily classroom experience while fostering a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate environment for our youngest learners.

Liberty Classical Academy – Hugo Campus (Hugo, MN)

• Provide compassionate daily care and supervision for infants and toddlers
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities that support developmental growth
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment
• Support positive routines, transitions, and play-based learning throughout the afternoon
• Collaborate with childcare teammates to ensure continuity and classroom consistency
• Partner with parents to support each child’s well-being and development
• Uphold and model Christian character, values, and love in daily interactions

• 18 years of age or older
• Experience working with infants and toddlers (birth–3 years preferred)
• A heart for serving children within a Christ-centered educational environment
• Willingness to complete required state certifications
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, faculty, and administrators
• Organized, dependable, and able to take initiative when needed

• Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 12:00 PM–5:00 PM
• Job Type: Part-time
• Pay Range: $16–$18 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
