SUMMARY
The Electrical Assembler II is responsible for assembling and testing electrical systems and components, ensuring accurate, on‑time job order completion, and maintaining inventory integrity in compliance with production standards. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a solid foundation in soldering, quality control, and safety practices within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
CORE DUTIES
- Strive for 100% internal on time completion of job orders.
- Ensure that all job orders are accurately produced within standards and procedures so we can meet 100% on time delivery to our customers.
- Ensure that job orders are being administered according to procedures and instructions, including proper identification labeling and warehouse storage of completed materials.
- Perform all job material transactions associated with the job order accurately and promptly to maintain inventory integrity.
- Maintain bin locations for product in facility using FIFO.
- Report job order material shortages to the Work Cell Coordinator or Production Supervisor.
- Report product defects or performance issues to the Work Cell Coordinator or Production Supervisor.
- Continuous improvement utilizing cross‑training within multiple work cells with knowledge of various processes to include electrical terminals, packaging, product assembly, and tape light soldering.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro‑welding equipment.
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
