Job DescriptionAs a Sanitation Technician I, you will play an important role in supporting the cleanliness and hygiene of our beverage production facility. This is an entry-level position focused on learning and executing routine sanitation tasks under close supervision. Your reliability and attention to detail will help ensure a safe and compliant production environment.
This is a full-time, 3rd shift position. The schedule is Monday night through Friday night from 10pm to 6:30am.
ResponsibilitiesSanitation Tasks
- Perform basic cleaning tasks on production equipment, floors, walls, and general facility areas under supervision
- Follow sanitation procedures and safety protocols as directed
- Assist with disassembling simple equipment components for cleaning
Tool & Chemical Handling
- Properly handle, clean, and store sanitation tools and supplies
- Use cleaning chemicals safely under guidance and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Documentation & Communication
- Complete assigned cleaning checklists and report task completion to the shift lead
- Communicate equipment or sanitation issues to experienced technicians
Learning & Development
- Participate in initial training and shadowing to learn sanitation best practices
- Support overall cleanliness and organization of sanitation supply areas
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED, preferred
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing setting, required; food & beverage experienced, preferred
- Basic understanding of cleanliness and safety standards in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Physically able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in wet or humid environments with exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Commitment to learning and adhering to company policies and sanitation protocols
