What You’ll DoThe Vice President of Manufacturing is responsible for oversight and coordination of the entire manufacturing operations across five facilities and three states. This position requires excellent strategic leadership, organizational and communication skills to effectively lead and develop our diverse team. The VP works closely with other senior leaders and is responsible for guarding our culture, achieving our profitability goals, and exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities- Define and implement strategic goals and objectives to achieve business, operational and financial objectives.
- Oversee and foster our culture, helping the team develop and grow.
- Lead the adoption and successful implementation of advanced technologies and best practices to improve efficiencies and processes.
- Ensure execution of key performance measures for safety, customer satisfaction, manufacturing quality and cost improvements.
- Collaborate with launch and supply chain teams, providing manufacturability input and transitioning products from launch to production.
- Identify, develop, and execute new areas for cost savings, working capital efficiency, cash flow management and operational improvements.
- Foster a culture that promotes operational excellence and continuous improvement.
- Develop talent for current and future needs and attract, retain, and transition talent throughout the organization.
- Lead the company to reflect the highest standards of Lean Manufacturing and IATF/ISO compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Operations Management or related field.
Technical slant preferred - 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operational leadership.
Experience in injection molding preferred - Proven leadership ability leading large teams across multiple sites.
- Lean manufacturing expertise required; proven critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to network and interface with all levels of the organization and customers.
- Proven track record of implementing change, driving cost improvements and increasing efficiencies.
- Experience with ERP and MES systems.
- Experience with new product introduction process from concept to production through end‑of‑life.
- Automotive experience required and Tier 1/OEM experience preferred. Deep knowledge of automotive quality systems.
