Massage Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated massage therapist to join our outpatient practice in Hudsonville, Michigan. We are dedicated to providing individualized, high-quality care, and we pride ourselves on patient-centered treatment with full one-on-one sessions. This is a flexible role, ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, but also values being part of a collaborative care team.

• Provide individualized massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs (e.g., injury recovery, pain relief, stress reduction)
• Review health history and ensure massage therapy is appropriate
• Document massage sessions in EMR
• Collaborate with physical therapists and other staff to integrate massage into a comprehensive rehabilitation or wellness plan
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment space; manage supplies and hygiene standards
• Educate clients on self-care, stretching, posture, or relaxation techniques to support therapeutic outcomes
• Collaborate with clinic marketing efforts, including social media features, events, and referral initiatives

• Valid Michigan massage therapy license/certification (or equivalent, per local regulation)
• Proficiency in a variety of massage modalities (e.g., Swedish, deep tissue, sports)
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and contraindications for massage therapy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — ability to build rapport and adapt to client needs
• Professionalism, reliability, and the ability to manage a flexible, contract-based schedule

Paid as a percentage of revenue generated per massage session (e.g., 50–63%, negotiable based on experience, modality, and volume)
