Key Responsibilities- Design, program, and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems for manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, including electrical, software, and network problems.
- Lead commissioning and startup activities for new equipment and automation upgrades.
- Develop and maintain control system documentation, including electrical schematics and software specifications.
- Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve system reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance personnel on automation systems.
- Extensive experience programming and troubleshooting Rockwell Automation PLCs (e.g., Control Logix, Compact Logix) using Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
- Proficiency in developing and deploying HMI/SCADA applications (e.g., Factory Talk View SE/ME, Ignition, Wonderware).
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ether Net/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP) and hardware.
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex electrical, mechanical, and software issues in automated manufacturing systems.
- Experience with industrial robotics (FANUC, KUKA, ABB) or advanced servo motion control systems.
- Ability to read, interpret, and create electrical schematics and control panel layouts.
- Experience with industrial robotics programming and integration (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency in vision system setup and programming (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and database integration (e.g., SQL, historians).
- Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) for data acquisition or custom tool development.
- Understanding of OT network security principles and best practices.
