Numbers tell the truth long before people do, and in this Accounting Clerk role you are the one making sure the story adds up.
Every invoice, payment, and ledger entry passes through your hands. This is a temporary bookkeeping assignment, but the work is serious and immediate. You will keep cash flow visible, vendors paid, and customer accounts accurate.
As an Accounting Clerk focused on Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, you will live inside Sage 50 and Excel most of the day. If you like clean spreadsheets, balanced accounts, and catching small errors, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
This established manufacturing operation in Hudsonville supports its production floor with a structured accounting team. The facility runs standard weekday business hours and relies on accurate financial tracking to keep purchasing, payroll, and customer billing on schedule.
Each day you will process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, run weekly payments, generate customer invoices, apply incoming payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain aging reports. You will work in Sage 50 and Excel, resolve discrepancies, and protect sensitive financial records.
What we offer the Accounting Clerk position- Pay rate: $20-25/hr. based on experience (paid weekly)

- Temporary assignment through April with potential to extend depending on business need
- 1 to 3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience with strong AP and AR background
- Proficiency in Sage 50 and solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
