Job Details
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This role is integral to our finance department and will be responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, and general ledger management. They will also be a strategic thinker with the ability to forecast and analyze financial trends to facilitate business decisions.

Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting operations including job costing, general ledger, cost accounting, and budgeting.Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements and reports to support the decision‑making process.Conduct forecasting activities and provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision‑making issues affecting the organization.Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.Utilize Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report on financial data.Develop and implement effective internal controls and financial policies.Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes, enhance reporting procedures, and improve overall operational efficiency.Participate in the annual budgeting process and perform periodic budget forecasting.Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities.Assist with various special projects as assigned by the management.Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. A CPA designation would be a strong asset.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.Proficient in job costing, general ledger, cost accounting, forecasting, and budgeting.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with other financial software.Strong knowledge of financial reporting, financial statement preparation, and budget management.Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation.Knowledge of current financial regulations and accounting standards.This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned accounting professional to take their career to the next level.
