We are seeking a motivated professional to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, and determine patient coverage and responsibility for services to support our clinical goals.
Job Description SummaryResponsible for performing the appropriate procedures to verify patient eligibility, coordinate benefits, and determine patient coverage/responsibility for services.
Job Responsibilities- Performs insurance verification of benefit coverage on all of the patient’s insurance plans for each service provided.
- Obtains and documents information related to coinsurance, copay, deductibles, authorization requirements, etc., in the system.
- Creates documentation required to service the patient per policy and payer guidelines.
- Determines estimated patient financial responsibility using insurance verification information and payer contracts and/or self‑pay guidelines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (opening a workbook, inserting rows, formatting cells, etc.).
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (opening a document, cutting, pasting, formatting, etc.).
- Previous intake/admissions experience or medical billing/collections preferred.

CompensationPay range: $16.61–$26.96 per hour (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities).
