We are seeking an Advanced Assembler for our client to support mechanical assembly operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assembling and disassembling subassemblies and systems by following detailed instructions and process sheets.
The Advanced Assembler will complete mechanical assemblies using a variety of mechanical parts and both standard and specialized tools. The position requires the use of basic hand and power tools, strong attention to detail, and fine motor skills to maneuver small parts, perform lacing, and tie repeated knots as required. The individual must be able to follow established assembly processes and perform minor mechanical repairs.
Required Skills and Experience
- Candidates must have a minimum of two years of education from a high school or trade school.
- Experience with mechanical assembly, use of hand and power tools, and the ability to read and follow process sheets is required.
- Candidates must have a minimum of five years of relevant experience in a factory or manufacturing setting, performing mechanical or similar assembly work.
Additional Information
This position is scheduled for second shift, working four 10-hour days from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.
