Assistant Controller

Description We are looking for an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team in Hudson, New Hampshire. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and maintaining compliance with auditing standards. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid background in accounting and financial management.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee month-end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

- Manage and maintain the general ledger, verifying account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

- Coordinate financial statement audits, ensuring all documentation and processes comply with regulatory standards.

- Prepare and analyze detailed financial reports to support business operations and decision-making.

- Utilize Sage Intacct software for financial management and reporting tasks.

- Handle third-party billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.

- Ensure compliance with DCAA requirements and other relevant standards.

- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance operational efficiency.

- Provide support in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning initiatives. Requirements - A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management roles.

- Expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

- Strong knowledge of financial statement audits and compliance requirements.

- Familiarity with DCAA standards and regulations.

- Proficiency in Sage Intacct or similar financial management software.

- Experience in managing third-party billing processes.

- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
