Position Summary
The role involves collaborative team work to fulfill sales and service requests, educating associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentoring new technicians while communicating and developing interpersonal skills to provide safe and efficient customer service. It includes demonstrating knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS, and product specifications, as well as expertise with Point of Sale systems, phone and in‑person selling techniques.
The position requires leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems for immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, new product information, product application, and training, while encouraging others to adopt new tools. It also involves owning equipment, tools and supplies, tracking returns and special orders, operating cash registers, processing transactions, maintaining accurate inventory, audit safety, reporting complaints, hazards, and issues, completing paperwork, logs, and required documentation, ensuring merchandise is packaged, labeled, stored per policies, and assisting members with purchasing decisions and resolving concerns.
Additionally, the role serves as a brand advocate, modeling high quality service, inspiring others, supporting the company’s values, and fostering a culture of belonging, respect, and continuous improvement, while adhering to policies, data, and resources and communicating progress and improvement opportunities.
