An established and fast-growing UK business within a specialist manufacturing and distribution space is expanding its digital capability and is now looking to hire a skilled PHP-focused Web Developer.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a portfolio of high-traffic websites and internal platforms, supporting both end users and commercial partners. You'll be joining a collaborative in-house team working on bespoke builds, performance improvements and systems integration.

You’ll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining custom web solutions, with a strong focus on Word Press and PHP-based systems. Projects will include theme development, backend integrations, performance enhancement and platform security.

• Building and maintaining bespoke Word Press themes
• Developing backend functionality using PHP, Laravel and MySQL
• Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
• Working with Git-based version control
• Ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility
• Managing hosting environments and resolving server-related issues
