Electrician

Electrical | Permanent | Based in Sunderland Your new company Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a well-established property maintenance team.

This role offers the chance to work across a diverse range of domestic and commercial properties, delivering high-quality repairs, installations, maintenance, and testing. Your new role Perform electrical repairs, maintenance, installation, and testing across domestic and non-domestic properties. Complete electrical installation condition reports. Carry out minor multi-trade tasks related to electrical work (e.g., patching, shower replacements). Ensure compliance with current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition).

Maintain accurate electronic certification and records. Work efficiently, liaising with managers and other trades as required. Participate in an emergency out-of-hours rota when needed. What you'll need to succeed NVQ Level 3 in Electrical discipline and AM2 practical trade test. City & Guilds 2361 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent. Full UK driving licence and DBS clearance. Strong knowledge of BS7671:2018 regulations and Health & Safety standards.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Desirable City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing) or equivalent.
