Austin Dean Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioners and Emergency Care Practitioners to join a leading provider of Primary Care–Led Urgent Treatment Centres across West Yorkshire.

Shifts are available across Urgent Treatment Centres and Primary Care Urgent Services throughout West Yorkshire, with opportunities in multiple locations across the region.
🩺 About the Role
As an Emergency Nurse Practitioner / Emergency Care Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering unscheduled urgent care services within Urgent Treatment Centres.
Working alongside General Practitioners, ENPs, ECPs, and operational teams, you will provide autonomous clinical assessment and treatment to patients presenting with a wide range of minor injuries and minor illnesses.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Conducting autonomous clinical assessment, examination, diagnosis and treatment
* Managing minor injuries such as wounds, fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries
* Interpreting X-rays and diagnostic results
* Performing suturing, wound care and plastering
* Supporting management of minor illness presentations where appropriately trained
* Safely discharging patients or referring to appropriate services
* Maintaining accurate patient records and clinical documentation
✅ Essential Requirements
* Registered Nurse or Emergency Care Practitioner
* Minor Injuries qualification (Level 6 or above) including:
* X-ray interpretation
* Suturing
* Plastering
* Management of complex wounds
* Minimum 1 year consolidated practice as an Emergency Practitioner
* Ability to assess, diagnose and treat patients autonomously
* Strong clinical decision-making skills
⭐ Desirable Skills
* Minor Illness qualification (Level 6 or above)
* Independent Prescriber qualification
* Experience working in Urgent Treatment Centres, Walk-In Centres, or Emergency Departments
Training opportunities may be available for suitable candidates.
🔒 Compliance Requirements
Candidates must provide:
* Valid NMC / HCPC Registration
* Enhanced DBS Certificate
* Right to Work in the UK
* Up-to-date CV
* Mandatory training certificates including Safeguarding, Basic Life Support, Infection Control and Manual Handling
