Laundry Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, towels, and other laundry items within our establishment. This position is essential to ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and pleasant experience during their stay. Previous experience in a hotel environment is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to established procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report any shortages to housekeeper promptly.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads when necessary.
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
