Kirklees Intensive Home-Based Treatment Team are seeking to recruit a Band 7 psychotherapist to work within their team. This full-time post is based at Folly Hall in Huddersfield, and the role will cover both North and South Kirklees.
You would be working with a well-established multidisciplinary team that supports staff to develop both personally and professionally. We have a mix of CPNs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Social Care Professionals and Occupational Therapists, also TIPD leads and psychiatrists.
IHBT are an alternative to hospital admission and work closely with service users, their carers and families to maintain someone’s safety in the community. IHBT also provide a gatekeeping role for hospital admissions. You will need to be able to work autonomously as well as within a team and be able to assess risks for Working Age Adults.

Job responsibilitiesJOB SUMMARY
The post holder will provide specialist psychotherapy skills within a multidisciplinary team. The post holder will provide a high quality clinical service to the users of the service.
They will provide highly specialist assessment and intervention while working collaboratively with non-psychology and psychotherapy professionals from other agencies and carers. They will be clinically responsible to a senior clinical psychologist or psychotherapist. Clinical oversight of all work will be held by the clinical lead in the service.
The job plan will be delivered in the services the post is based.
The post holder will work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team while observing Trust and National policies and procedures.
