Main duties of the jobExciting opportunity has arisen on Ward 5 at HRI for someone who has a keen eye for detail and good are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team providing a high standard of care to our patients, and have pride in maintaining our working environment. The role is vital for the smooth running of the ward. Housekeeper roles will include:
The delivery of cleaning, stocking up and monitoring stock levels. Monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
Ward 5 encompasses the 4 pillars of the trust, and works as a team with everyone being supported and valued members of this team.

Job responsibilities:
The delivery of cleaning, including the cleaning of equipment, beds, mattresses, stocking up and monitoring stock levels. Monitoring quality standards, reporting deficiencies and recommending appropriate changes.
QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING
Desirable
- Customer care certificate in food hygiene
- Health and social care course
- NVQ Level 2 Housekeeping
Essential
- Literacy skills
- Ability to work in a busy environment
- Ability to ensure the cleanliness, tidiness and efficiency of the ward
- Ability to maintain satisfactory level of attendance
Desirable
- Previous experience of dealing with patients and relatives
- Previous employment within a Healthcare setting
- Awareness of CHFT policies and procedures.
