JDR Group is recruiting a Finance Manager for a central Huddersfield client. The successful candidate will have experience in the adult social care sector, experience in managing a team and working with Directors to strategically plan.

Salary: £25.79 per hour

Contract: Temporary contract with potential to extend/go permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am-5:15pm

Location: Huddersfield (hybrid role with office based in central Huddersfield)

• Management and supervision of the finance team, ensuring resources are managed effectively.
• Performance management of your team to ensure delivery for your customers.
• Work closely with Directors to strategically plan and present financial information back to the Directorates effectively.
• Support with the development and maintenance of financial planning processes.
• Provision of a comprehensive, high quality and timely financial management service.

• Previous experience working in an adult social care finance setting.
• Member of a recognised CCAB professional accountancy body.
• Experience of complex financial systems in a large organisation.
• Knowledge of professional accounting standards.
• Experience of managing the preparation of annual accounts.

Due to the nature of the role, successful applicants will need to pass a DBS check.
