Placement Student - Quality

We are looking for an enthusiastic student to join our team specialising in Quality for our Plant VPI business unit in Huddersfield. This on‑site role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence summer 2026. During your placement with us, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential!

• Assisting with the coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction – Line Approval process and handling of product
• Working both independently and within a team to support key tasks and projects
• Using problem solving skills to improve processes and procedures
• Representing and promoting Cummins Turbo Technologies to the customer, internally and externally

• Working towards a degree in an appropriate Mechanical or Automotive Engineering discipline
• Understanding of industrial or production engineering
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
