We are looking for an enthusiastic New Product Introduction specialist in Quality for our Plant VPI business unit in Huddersfield. During your placement, you will learn how a major global organization operates, gaining the tools and exposure you will need to become an expert in the industry and power your potential! This ON‑SITE role is available to candidates who qualify for a placement year and will commence Summer 2026
.

• Assist with the coordination of turbo approval activities for new product introduction – Line Approval process and handling of product
• Work both independently and within a team to support key tasks and projects
• Use problem‑solving skills to improve processes and procedures
• Represent and promote Cummins Turbo Technologies to the customer, internally and externally

• Working towards a degree in an appropriate Mechanical or Automotive Engineering discipline
• Ambition, flexibility, creativity and a desire to learn and take on responsibility
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and time‑management skills
• Previous experience within a Manufacturing or Quality environment would be advantageous
