Electrical Design Engineer / Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Huddersfield (Hybrid)
Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum (DOE)

We are currently working with an established engineering business based in Huddersfield who are looking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer or Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organisation operating within an automation-focused environment, delivering projects across a range of sectors including special purpose machinery, FMCG, pharmaceutical, nuclear, and other regulated industries.

The Role:

* Electrical design of control panels

* Producing electrical schematics and documentation

* Working closely with project and engineering teams

* Supporting projects from concept through to completion

The Ideal Candidate :

* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical design

* Background in automation, machinery, or industrial engineering

* Experience with EPLAN (preferred), AutoCAD Electrical, or similar electrical design software

* Strong understanding of control systems and panel design

* Able to work independently and as part of a team
