The Financial Services department is seeking to appoint a well‑organised individual with previous experience of supporting relational databases to work as a Student Records System Support Officer within the central ASIS Team.
The System Records Support Officer plays a major role in supporting users of the Student Record System (SiTs) with technical problems, training, and testing new developments and upgrades, ensuring it meets the needs of our university community.
You will be adaptable, proactive, and have excellent interpersonal skills. You will also have excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of student records systems (particularly SiTs) would be beneficial, but not essential, as full training will be provided. You’ll be part of a supportive team dedicated to improving processes and delivering excellent service to staff and students. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your technical and training skills in a dynamic university environment.
We offer an excellent employment package, including hybrid working, blending a mix of remote and on‑campus working (dependent on work duties).
The University is deeply committed to equality and diversity for all its students and staff. We seek to be diverse and inclusive, supporting individuals and groups to fulfil their potential and nurture a sense of belonging. We strive to be an accessible, inclusive employer, removing barriers for all. Find out more about our approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, including our commitments and accreditations as a Disability Confident Employer, Stonewall Gold Award holder and Top 100 Employer, Athena SWAN Bronze Award holder and Race Equality Charter Bronze Award holder.
