Do you live in or around the Huddersfield Area? Have you got what it takes to be a Behaviour Mentor to provide support to children who need it the most?
Your focus as a Behaviour Mentor will be on supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges to thrive academically and socially.
Responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:- Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group behavioural support.
- Implement interventions to improve behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Foster trusting relationships that encourage engagement and self-confidence.
- Work alongside teachers, pastoral staff, and parents to maintain consistency of support.
- Track student progress and provide feedback to senior leaders.
- Experience with young people with SEMH or behavioural needs.
- Confident, calm, and empathetic approach.
- Skilled in de-escalation, mentoring, and communication.
- Team player with a proactive, solution-focused attitude.
