In September 2024 we opened a brand new Additionally Resourced Provision (ARP) for pupils with complex communication and interaction (CCI) needs that is situated within Netherhall St James C of E (VC) Infant & Nursery school.

The ARP provides support for pupils with CCI needs, their families and the main school. You will be an integral part of the support team including an ARP Lead, Specialist Teacher, HLTA and ETAs to support the learning and welfare of all targeted pupils.

Successful candidates will need to demonstrate good communication and language skills, understand the importance of being part of a team, have knowledge of the complexities of need highlighted within young people’s Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and be resilient and compliant to their statutory and moral obligations as a trusted adult.

The role will involve supporting students to make good academic and social progress in the ARP and mainstream lessons, through a clear knowledge and understanding of the student’s personal needs, strategies for learning, intervention and good communication with all stakeholders.
