Front of House Weekend Receptionist

Location: Huddersfield

Hours: Saturday 8am - 5pm;
Sunday 10am - 4pm

Contract Length: Long-term, rolling assignment

We're recruiting for a polished and personable Weekend Receptionist to join a busy automotive dealership in Huddersfield. The role is front-facing and ideal for someone with a hospitality or front‑of‑house background who genuinely enjoys dealing with people and delivering an amazing customer experience.

You’ll be the face of the business on weekends, welcoming customers into the service department and showroom, ensuring they feel looked after from the moment they arrive.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Greeting and welcoming customers as they arrive at the dealership
  • Providing a warm, professional first impression as the face of the brand
  • Direct customers to service advisors, sales executives or other relevant departments
  • Offer and prepare drinks for customers and guests
  • Handle initial enquiries and provide basic information about services
  • Ensure the environment is clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
  • Answer and manage incoming calls in a professional manner
  • Use Microsoft Teams for internal communication
  • Supporting teams with basic administrative tasks, where required
  • Provide customers with promotional material or product information where needed.
  • Embody the client's brand values at all times
  • Maintain a calm, polished and professional demeanour
  • Build basic knowledge of the brand's vehicles and services to answer general questions
  • Work closely with the weekend team
  • Relay relevant information between customers and staff
  • Support with ad‑hoc tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Key Requirements:
  • Experience with in hospitality, hotel or receptionist/front‑of‑house role
  • Friendly, chatty and easy‑going personality
  • Professional and well presented
  • Attentive and proactive
  • Strong and reliable timekeeping
  • Ability to handle customers

We're specifically looking for someone with experience in hospitality, hotel, reception or front‑of‑house who is confident dealing with people face to face.
