Working Hours: Full-time | 22:30–08:00 | 4 nights on / 4 nights off

Service Users: YPs aged 7–18 | Complex Needs, Trauma, EBD

Qualifications

Required:

Level 3 / 4 Diploma in Children & Young People’s Workforce (desirable, not essential)

Experience in Years

Required:

Not essential – full training provided

We are seeking reliable, calm and committed Waking Night Support Workers who are passionate about supporting children and young people during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing positive relationships with young people, families and external professionals
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and maintaining a safe environment overnight
• Contributing to care plans and risk assessments
• Maintaining accurate and high-quality records
• Working independently, managing risk and using initiative

Training:

• 3 weeks classroom-based training
• 1 week of shadow shifts to ensure confidence and competence

• An established children’s residential care provider delivering complex care services
