We are expanding our Innovations Team and this is a great chance to join our dynamic Innovations Department as an Electronics Design & Development Engineer, where you'll transform bold concepts into real, market‑leading products that empower children's learning on a global scale. This is your chance to lead electronic innovation in a purpose‑driven, fast‑paced environment—prototyping tomorrow's classroom breakthroughs while collaborating with designers, app developers, manufacturers, and educators.

Responsibilities- Drive the electronic design and development of exciting new products and enhancements, balancing creativity, functionality, safety, cost, and manufacturability.
- Take ownership of electronics from concept through to production: schematic design, PCB layout, component selection, prototyping, testing, and value engineering.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally—liaise with suppliers, external partners (3rd parties and key OEMs), QA, and Product teams to ensure seamless hardware‑software integration and flawless launches.
- Champion emerging technologies (wireless protocols, embedded systems, batteries, sensors) and push boundaries to keep our products future‑proof and ahead of the curve.
- Create and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, specifications, user manuals, and compliance files.
- Solve real‑world product challenges through fault diagnosis, root‑cause analysis, rigorous testing (lifespan, EMC, safety), and continuous improvement.
- Scout innovative suppliers, assess new concepts for feasibility/cost, and provide technical expertise across the business.
- A relevant Electrical/Electronic Engineering qualification (HNC, Degree, or equivalent).
