Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Howrah. The Sous Chef will support the Head Chef in kitchen operations, ensure the preparation of high-quality meals, manage kitchen staff, and oversee food inventory. Responsibilities include assisting with menu planning, maintaining food safety and hygiene regulations, supervising food preparation, and ensuring efficient kitchen workflow. The candidate is expected to work collaboratively to maintain the high standards of the culinary experience.

Qualifications

Culinary expertise, including knowledge of cooking techniques, menu planning, and food preparation.
Leadership and team management skills to effectively supervise and motivate kitchen staff.
Understanding of food safety, hygiene protocols, and health regulations.
Ability to multitask, manage kitchen operations efficiently, and maintain consistency in food quality.
Strong organizational and time management skills to ensure timely food production and service.
Relevant professional culinary training or certification is preferred.
