Junior Staff Nurse

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Nurses to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to efficient ward administration. You will be responsible for a wide range of duties, ensuring patient well-being, accurate record-keeping, and smooth ward operations.

Key Responsibilities    Patient Care    Manage  admission, discharge, and transfer  of patients.
Perform accurate  data collection  related to patient health.
Conduct  assessment of vital signs  and continuous patient monitoring.
Perform  physical examinations & diagnostic evaluations .
Follow physical rounds and accurately  carry out prescribed orders .
Send  samples for diagnostic evaluations  as required.
Coordinate  diagnostic & therapeutic procedures .
Plan & implement comprehensive  patient care, including hygiene & nutrition .
Administer medication  safely and accurately.
Provide  comfort measures  to patients.
Manage patient  elimination needs .
Provide clear and effective  health education  to patients and families.
Maintain accurate  records & reports .
Actively participate in  in-service education .
Ward Administration    Write  nursing care plans  for allocated patients.
Perform nursing activities for  admission, discharge, & transfer  of patients.
Keep patient belongings in  safe custody  in accordance with hospital policy.
Assist the ward sister in  indenting & checking of drugs & supplies , and maintaining inventory.
Maintain proper  nursing procedures .
Oversee  sterilization of articles .
Participate in  rounds with doctors & senior nursing personnel .
Keep all  patient records up-to-date .
Observe patient conditions and take  prompt action  as needed.
Record & report patient conditions as and when required.
Provide direct supervision over patient care carried out by students in the ward.
Participate in  clinical teaching programs .
Attend  in-service classes  regularly.
Candidate Requirements     Verbal Ability/Communication Skill :
Ability to comprehend verbal instructions given by supervisors or heads of departments.
Ability to give accurate and tactful explanations to patients.
Problem-solving/Decision-making :
Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
Ability to comprehend written instructions given by doctors and other related departmental personnel.
