Job Description
CHI Transportation, LLC is seeking qualified Seasonal Truck Drivers to support operations across the United States. This position requires extensive travel, primarily throughout the Western United States, with occasional travel to other locations as business needs require. Seasonal Truck Drivers provide essential ground support services and operate mobile fueling units in support of customer missions. Successful candidates are adaptable, safety focused, and comfortable working in fast paced, mission driven environments.
Job Responsibilities- Comply with the Department of Transportation (D.O.T) Electronic Logging Device mandate and state driving regulations at all times.
- Performs safety inspections on trucks and equipment as required by Company policy.
- Drive Class A Tractor Trailer hauling fuel to remote locations as directed by customer.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Valid Class A Commercial driver's license, Haz Mat, Tanker certificate, current medical card, and a recent DMV printout.
- Must have at least two (2) years of verifiable Class A Tractor Trailer Hazmat Driving experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience driving heavy duty vehicles.
- Must have a clean D.M.V. driving record, 0 points in past 12 months, maximum 1.5 points in the past three (3) years.
- Must have no more than one (1) chargeable or preventable accident within the past three (3) years.
- Fuel Truck experience, preferred.
- Ability to pass a road skill evaluation.
- Safety and team oriented.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
