Minimum rate of pay: $35.64 PLUS Daily PAY

This role supports the 10‑bed 3 South Surgical Unit and/or the 19‑bed acuity‑adaptable blended unit. It is an opportunity for those with RN experience in a hospital setting and is particularly suitable for individuals with Critical Care Unit (CCU) or PCU/Step‑Down experience.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Graduation from a school of nursing that permits the graduate to sit for the NCLEX exam to become licensed as a Registered Nurse; BSN preferred.
• Licensure:
  • Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • BLS.
  • ACLS required for Float Pool, Cardiac/Cath Lab, AICU, Emergency and PCU at Livingston.
• Experience:
  • Graduation from accredited nursing program.
  • Effective January 1, 2013 all new hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, practice and age‑specific needs.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to initiate and maintain collegial relationships with coworkers and therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
  • Critical thinking skills to perform principal duties and responsibilities.
  • Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when planning and performing professional nursing care.

  Night Shifts 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, part‑time status. Midnights every third weekend and rotating holidays (required for full‑time and part‑time team members).
