Warehouse Specialist IThe Warehousing Specialist I plays a key role in supporting warehouse operations, with a primary focus on receiving raw materials, preparing them for use, maintaining inventory accuracy, and coordinating material movements to and from Production. This position ensures materials are staged accurately and on time, in alignment with production schedules and customer requirements. Responsibilities include both physical handling and system-based tracking of materials, contributing to an organized and efficient warehouse workflow.
By maintaining precise inventory records and ensuring timely material availability, the Warehousing Specialist I helps drive smooth and uninterrupted production processes.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and quality throughout the organization.
- Perform kitting and receiving functions with minimal supervision.
- Safely unload trucks and tankers; receive materials into the ERP system with minimal supervision.
- Keep all work areas clean, safe, and free of debris and tripping hazards.
- Gather raw materials and stage them for manufacturing processes.
- Collect samples for quality control and properly store raw materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Ensure proper labeling of raw materials in the warehouse.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to work safely and independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
