Position

Summary

The position is responsible for managing incoming materials, maintaining accurate inventory, coordinating with suppliers, and supporting production teams by ensuring tools, parts, and work‑in‑progress items are always where they need to be. It combines hands‑on warehouse work with communication, coordination, and accountability for critical shop‑floor resources.

Reports To: Warehouse Manager

Work Location: 6401 North Eldridge Pkwy, Houston, TX 77041

Position Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, unpack, and store incoming materials and supplies in designated warehouse locations.
  • Coordinate inventory management and warehousing activities to optimize inventory levels and ensure material availability.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) suppliers to replenish consumables and expendable supplies in a timely manner.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for ARM and Depot supply areas, ensuring clear communication and material support.
  • Issue, track, and maintain accountability of tools distributed to the shop floor.
  • Support production operations by acting as a water spider, transporting work‑in‑progress (WIP) materials and parts between departments to maintain workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support cycle counts and audits as required.
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma/GED and more than 6 months of general work experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of high school education.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work‑authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre‑employment drug screen and background check.

  • Demonstrated prioritization skills and ability to deal with multiple priorities within demanding time constraints.
