Warehouse Worker

Connect Staffing is hiring a Warehouse Worker in Houston, TX 77041 to support a manufacturing and distribution facility. This role involves picking, packing, receiving, and organizing inventory, as well as operating warehouse equipment to ensure smooth and accurate order fulfillment.

Pay range: $18/hr

Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with OT as required

Location: On-site – Houston, TX 77041

Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Environment: Fast-paced warehouse with indoor and loading dock areas

Overtime: Available as needed

• At least 2 years of recent warehouse experience, including operating a forklift.
• Experience in shipping and receiving operations.
• Experience unloading, stocking, and organizing inventory.
• Capable of standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods (up to 8 hours).

Prior experience in roles such as Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, Order Picker, Shipping & Receiving Clerk, Inventory Associate, or Forklift Operator is a big plus!

Preferred Qualifications are a plus, not required.

• 3+ years of experience with forklift (sit down and stand up) and pallet jacks.
• Familiarity with RF scanners, inventory software, or basic computer systems.
• Experience picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with cycle counts and audits.

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
• Stock, organize, and rotate inventory following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures.
• Safely lift and transport boxes, hardware, and materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment as assigned.
• Utilize RF scanners and basic computer systems to track inventory and process orders.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, company policies, and operational procedures.
• Provide support with general warehouse tasks as needed to ensure operational efficiency.

• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around warehouse equipment for extended periods.
