$18.00/hour | Temp-to-Hire | Houston, TX 77087

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM + Overtime (including occasional Saturdays)

About the Role

We're hiring a reliable general warehouse associates to join our steel distribution warehouse. You'll operate heavy equipment, pull orders, and load trucks in a fast-paced environment where showing up on time every day matters.

What You'll Do

Pull customer orders accurately and prepare them for delivery

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently

Operate 10-ton overhead cranes (training provided) and forklifts (experience required)

Work with color-coded bar systems and read tape measures for precision

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Work in varying weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, dry)

What You Need

Overhead crane experience (preferred)

Forklift experience (required)

Steel-toe boots (required)

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly

Reliable attendance - must be on time every day

Ability to read a tape measure accurately

Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Positive attitude and good communication skills

Team player who works well under pressure

Flexibility for occasional Saturday overtime
