Forklift Driver Sit-down

Overview

JOB SUMMARY: Perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming and outgoing stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

• Warehouse Associate / Sit-down Forklift Operator, work interdependently to contribute to inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
• Must be comfortable with other tasks that do not involve forklift for the entire shift.
• Forklift 50% and other warehousing tasks 50%
• Receive, check in and put away stock quickly and accurately.
• Pull and stage orders.
• Replenish and unload trailers as they come in with pallet jack or forklift.
• Order picking, slotting, replenishment, loading, and cross-training to other departments (inventory, shipping and receiving).
• May utilize manual and/or powered industrial equipment and/or RF guns to perform work tasks as well.
• Document production log appropriately to include changes in assignments, downtime, meetings, etc., to ensure productivity records are accurate.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized and positive warehouse environment.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs., and may weigh up to 70 lbs.
• Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift.
• Plumbing experience A+
• 2+ years of shipping & receiving experience (preferred).
• Team player with a positive attitude.

1st shift: 8 am to 5 pm - Monday to Friday
