Position SummaryWe are seeking a dependable, self-motivated Material Handler / Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse and distribution operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This role requires strong attention to inventory accuracy and the ability to use computer systems (including Prophet 21 ERP) to verify and receive deliveries. The position involves handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and supporting overall warehouse efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, verify, and process incoming shipments using the ERP system
- Pick, pack, and stage customer orders for shipment or will-call pickup
- Store products in proper bin locations to maintain inventory accuracy
- Maintain organized, efficient warehouse layout for quick product retrieval
- Load and unload delivery trucks safely
- Operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain products in quality, marketable condition
- Keep warehouses, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized
- Follow company safety policies and always use appropriate PPE
- Provide professional, courteous assistance to will-call customers
- Prior warehouse or material handling experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Basic computer skills (experience with ERP systems preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to multi-task and problem-solve
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
