Position OverviewPosition Overview: SEG Solar is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support daily warehouse and inventory operations. This role is critical to ensuring accurate material handling, inventory integrity, and safe warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while collaborating closely with warehouse, logistics, production, and supply chain teams.
Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, count, and verify incoming raw materials and finished goods, ensuring quantities and conditions align with shipping documentation.
- Perform inventory movements including inbound receiving, shelving, storage, picking, and outbound staging in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by timely and precise data entry into inventory management systems (ERP), ensuring physical inventory matches system records.
- Support routine and ad-hoc inventory counts, cycle counts, and year-end physical inventories; investigate and report discrepancies as needed.
- Assist with daily warehouse operations including labeling, palletizing, packaging, and material handling to support production and shipment schedules.
- Ensure warehouse areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) in accordance with safety protocols and company policies.
- Follow all safety regulations, SOPs, and internal controls to prevent damage, loss, or safety incidents.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and warehouse supervisors to support smooth material flow and resolve operational issues.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned to support overall operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Prior experience in warehouse, inventory, logistics, or manufacturing operations preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a basic understanding of inventory accuracy and data integrity.
- Basic computer skills with the ability to use Excel and ERP or inventory systems.
- Ability to follow procedures, work independently, and complete tasks accurately and on time.
- Willingness to work flexible schedules as required by production and operational needs.
- Strong teamwork mindset with good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to perform physical work, including standing for extended periods and lifting warehouse materials as required.
